What is covered as part of an End of Tenancy clean?
Kitchen & Dining Room
  • Scrub kitchen cabinets, doors and to top of units
  • Clean the inside of all cabinets, cupboards, drawers & underneath all units if applicable
  • Clean sink and taps – removing lime scale and polish where required
  • Clean tiles and splashbacks
  • Wash and polish all work surfaces, breakfast bars and counter tops
  • A thorough vacuum of carpets and hard floors.  All hard flooring will not only be vacuum but washed & mopped.
  • All skirting boards, dado rails, shelving, blinds, radiators & light shades to be dusted and cleaned
  • All light switched and sockets will be wiped over
  • Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work, wall and door
Bedroom
  • All the bedroom furniture will be wiped over and cleaned, inside and outside
  • Cupboards and wardrobes will be cleaned to perfection
  • The light fittings will be well cleaned so that they sparkle
  • A thorough vacuum of carpets or mop if applicable
  • Cleaning of mirrors, pictures, wall hangings & shelving
  • All skirting boards & wood work to be dusted & wiped clean
  • Blinds & curtains to be dusted down and wiped clean where applicable
  • Radiators to be dusted and wiped clean – externally
  • All light shades to be dusted and cleaned
  • All light switches and sockets will be wiped over
  • Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
Bathroom
  • Thorough cleaning of bath, sink, toilet & shower cubicle if applicable.
  • Shower screen to be cleaned
  • Cleaning of sink and taps – removing excess lime scale and polish where required
  • Floor to be cleaned, hovered and mopped
  • Window sill to be dusted and wiped down
  • Tiles to be cleaned & polished
  • All skirting boards & wood work to be dusted & wiped down
  • Blinds to be dusted & wiped clean
  • Radiators to be dusted & wiped clean
  • Light shades to be dusted and cleaned
  • All light switched and sockets will be wiped over
  • Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
Lounge
  • Cupboards will be cleaned inside and out
  • Wipe clean all furniture
  • Perform a thorough vacuum under sofas and chairs, removing all cushions and throw pillows in the process.
  • Cleaning of mirrors, pictures, wall hanging & all shelving
  • All skirting boards & wood work to be dusted & wiped clean
  • Blinds & curtains to be dusted and wiped clean where possible
  • Light shades to be dusted and wiped cleaned
  • All light switched and sockets will be wiped over
  • Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
Hallway and Stairs
  • Vacuuming of stairs and hallways
  • Mopping of hallways and stairs if applicable
  • All skirting boards, dado rails, blinds, radiators & light shades to be dusted and cleaned
  • All light switched and sockets will be wiped over
  • Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
